Outline
Jinju Namgang Yudeung(Lantern) Festival originates from during Jinjuseong Fortress Battle of the Imjinwaeran War(Japanese invasion in 1592) as a military strategy to prevent Japanese troops from wading the Namgang River. This festival is selected as a main festival of 2013 in Korea. Fireworks show, lantern pictures, local traditional food & specialty shops are awaited for you.
